Leg One is pictured above, I left the stitch marker in Leg One to show Rnds 21-22, the ch 1 st is the
stitch you will sew through. In the following picture, Leg One is on the left, and Leg Two is on the right, whipstitch here three times to prevent a hole. The pictures also show how I whipstitch, it may have another name, but you go through the whipstitch to lock it in. The 4th picture is what it should look like after you’re done sewing, hide the tail in the Leg Two. Continue to work in Rnds to make the Body.
Body
Bottom
Rnd 1: Sc in next sc, the sc from Rnd 22 of Leg One, dec in the following two stitches, the first stitch is from turning on Rnd 22 on Leg One (the extra stitch), if you crochet here you will end up with an extra sc, the second stitch is the next sc, sc in the next 10 sc, sc in next sc from Rnd 22 of Leg One, sc in next 11 sc, if you did this correctly you should have 24 stitches. (24)

Rnd 6: Sc in next 10 sc, change to Color A, sc in next sc, dec 5 times, sc in next sc, change to Color B, sc in next 7 sc. (29)
After completing Rnd 10, flatten and sew the Legs shut through Rnd 1 of the Bottom with Color B to make a crease.
If you carried over the colors of yarn when changing colors, cut them down the center, this will conflict with stuffing later in the pattern. This can be done after Completing Rnd 7. I'm on Rnd 12 in the picture, I almost forgot. . .
Rnd 7-15: Sc in each sc. (24)
Neck
Rnd 16: (sc in next 2 sc, dec) *. (18)
Rnd 17: (sc in next sc, dec) *. (12)
Head
Rnd 18: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) *. (18)
Rnd 19: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) *. (24)
Rnd 20: (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) *. (30)

Rnd 30: (sc in next 3 sc, dec) *. (24)
Rnd 31: (sc in next 2 sc, dec) *. (18)
Rnd 32: (sc in next sc, dec) *. (12)
Rnd 33: (dec) *, remove stitch marker, dec twice, cut and pull yarn through, weave in end. (4)
Arms
Make Two.
With Color A,
Rnd 1: 4 sc in Magic Ring. (4)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc (8)
Rnd 3-10: Sc in each sc. (8)
Rnd 11-19: Change to Color B, sc in each sc. Start stuffing the arm after completing Rnd 12. (8)
Rnd 20: (dec)*. Cut and pull yarn through, weave in end. (4)
Joint the Arms to the Body. To joint, take a 9" piece of size 18 Nylon Crochet Thread and run it from right to left, through the center of Rnd 17 the Neck, then through Rnd 19 of the first Arm (make sure the jog is facing the Body), then back through the center of Rnd 17 of the Neck, then back through Rnd 12 of the other Arm (again, make sure the jog is facing the Body), then tighten, tie the strands together three times, the three knots are so you can melt the ends of the Nylon Crochet Thread to prevent fraying, hide the knots in the Body.
Tail
With Color A,
Rnd 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring. (6)
Rnd 2-10: Sc in each sc. (6)
Rnd 11-46: Change to Color B, sc in each sc, fasten off after completing Rnd 46, do not stuff the Tail, center and sew directly to Body, above Rnd 6, leave a 18" tail for sewing to Body. (6)
Finishing
Place and position the Muzzle and sew to the Head, to make the Nostrils, embroider two French Knots with Black Embroidery Floss or Color D to make them larger, sew in center of Muzzle. I like to do this after sewing it to the Head, the stuffing gives the embroidery floss something to grab hold of. Place and position the Eyes and sew to Head. Place and position Ears and sew to either side of Head. Joint the Arms and sew the Tail to Body. That's it, you're Sitting Baby Sock Monkey is now complete. Enjoy.
Rnd 2: Sc in next 10 sc, change to Color A, sc in next sc, 2 sc in the next 5 sc, sc in the next sc, change to Color B, sc in next 7 sc. (29)
Rnd 3: Sc in next 9 sc, change to Color A, sc in next 3 sc, change to Color C, sc in next 8 sc, change to Color A, sc in next 3 sc, change to Color B, sc in next 6 sc. (29)

Rnd 5: Sc in next 9 sc, change to Color A, sc in next 3 sc, change to Color C, sc in next 8 sc, change to Color A, sc in next 3 sc, change to Color B, sc in next 6 sc. (29)
I used Color C to make the sewing process clearer. Start by tying 5 knots at the tail end on the yarn, run it through the inside of the Body, starting in between the last and first stitch of Rnd 1 of the Body (the hole left of the sc in Rnd 22 Leg One), sewing in the stitch directly to the left, from front to back, all the way to the left side of the Body. When working from back to front, you want to sew in the stitch directly to the right, until the end of the right Side of the Body. You should end up in the center of the back of the Body when done sewing. Come up and out of the body when finished sewing. You just want to fill in every space of the crease, so the crease will allow the Baby Sock Monkey to sit. The last couple of pictures are what it should look like after the sewing is completed with Color B.
